- A CNW news release (picked up by Benzinga) warns that there are just two weeks left to see or re-visit the 'In Search of Expo 67' exhibition at the Musée d'art contemporain (MAC) de Montréal. The release quotes from a New York Times article from June 22 about the exhibition. Note that almost half of the artists participating in the show, marking the 50th anniversary of Expo 67, are Concordia alumni or faculty.
- The Suburban writes about the TeamMTL entry in Solar Decathlon China 2018 in Dezhou, China. The team is made up of more than 40 Concordia and McGill students and faculty who designed and assembled the sole competition entry from Canada: the net-zero energy Deep-Performance Dwelling. The paper reports that the Deep Performance home reduces typical dwelling energy needs by 70 percent. President Alan Shepard is quoted in the piece.
