Expert commentators
Concordia faculty and researchers are regularly asked to offer expert, informed opinions on many of today's most pressing problems. Read some of the latest news items about Concordians:
- PERFORM Centre scientist Matthew Parrott is quoted in a Châtelaine article that reviews recent Japanese research into a link between consumption of citrus fruits and improved brain health.
- Alternet.org and NECN pick up a quote of Seth Spain, assistant professor of management, from an earlier NBCnews.com story about a trickle-down "Trump effect" some are noting among adults, particularly in the workplace. Spain says Trump serves as a negative role model for people at work who note that the U.S. president appears to get away with consistently bad behaviour.
- UQÀM announces that Ronald Rudin, history professor in the Faculty of Arts and Science and co-director of the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling, will participate in a round table discussion of digital history and collective memory, at UQAM, next Tuesday, August 15, as part of the Montréal Numérique summer school program.
