- Stingers women's rugby players Frédérique Rajotte and Alexandra Tessier are featured in a Montreal Gazette article about Team Canada at the Women’s Rugby World Cup for rugby fifteens, opening today in Dublin and Belfast. Rajotte and Tessier are among the ten rookies on the Canadian team. The piece is picked up by Mogaznews and Canada.com. Rajotte and Tessier are mentioned also in rugby World Cup coverage in the Halifax Chronicle Herald and on TSN.ca.
- Rabble.ca posts a podcast featuring Concordia PhD student Dorian Jesse Fraser (first heard at the 4:30-mark), who talks about the Queer Between the Covers collective and the collective's annual queer book and zine fair.
