Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:  

  • Global News Montreal (video and text, with the text story reprised by NewsCaf and Christian News Today) andJournal Métro report on yesterday's rally at Norman-Bethune Square in solidarity with Concordia engineering student Bissan Eid, whose family and friends are pursuing efforts to bring her back to Canada from Gaza. Eid has been unable to obtain an exit visa from Israel. The Global video report mentions a letter-writing campaign on Eid's behalf and includes a clip, at the 1:35 mark, of Norma Rantisi, professor in the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment in the Faculty of Arts and Science.
  • Yahoo! News picks up a CBC.ca story featuring Concordia film student Logan Fulford, whose short film, Wrath of God, has won a prize at the Atlantic Film Festival for Youth. 
  • Seriously Media reports on a 360° virtual reality live video broadcasting application, created by Concordia software engineering students Olivier Brochu-Dufour (who is quoted), Ihcène Cheriet, Joseph Atallah, Wing Long Chung, Rahul Malik and Roberto Ruffolo-Benavides. The students developed the app for a Capstone graduation project.
