  • CNW/Telbec announces the inauguration of two public places, 'Les Places du 375e', in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Park and Kent Park, in the borough of Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. The spaces, created to mark the 375th anniversary of the foundation of Montreal, were designed by students at Concordia and Université de Montréal. The release is picked up by Morning Star.
  • Le Lézard and WISTV.com reprise a CNW release about the Royal Bank's 'Make 150 Count' program to mark Canada's 150th anniversary. It mentions Stingers goaltender Antoine Salomon-Marchand, who used a $150 contribution from the bank's program to purchase goal tending equipment for nine-year old Atom "C" hockey player Julia Benarroch.
