Students
Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- Las Cruces Sun-News, writing about last weekend's Spaceport America Cup rocket engineering competition in New Mexico, reports that a team of Concordia students won honorable mention in the competition's Space Dynamics Laboratory Payload Challenge.
- The Washington Post, writing about hateful speech and violence, references an opinion piece by a Concordia student, Erika Morris, that appeared in The Link of March 6. Morris argued that "microaggressions", defined as subtle insults against people of a marginalized group, are a form of violence.
- Concordia student Bara Abuhamed talks to the Montreal Gazette about his Eid-al-Fitr observances, celebrating the end of Ramadan.
- Journalism student Claire Loewen is featured in the Montreal Gazette among reporters at the paper who tell their personal stories of working summer jobs. Loewen is currently working as a reporting intern at the Gazette.
- LaPresse.ca references Concordia art student Antoine Caron in an article about an art exhibition at the Darling Foundry, in Montreal's Cité du Multimédia.
