Students
Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- Several media report on yesterday's news conference at Concordia where an appeal was made by family and supporters of Concordia engineering student Bissan Eid, who is currently stranded in Gaza with her three-week old daughter, Sarah. News reports reference the Simone de Beauvoir Institute, the School of Community and Public Affairs, the CSU and the Graduate Student Association among the Concordia community members represented at yesterday's news conference, alongside Eid's father, Hadi: Montreal Gazette, Le Journal de Montréal, TVANouvelles.ca.
- Concordia student George Lenser (First Peoples Studies), is featured on CBC Montreal radio's 'Daybreak' (audio and text). Lenser, a chef, talks about an Indigenous tasting menu this afternoon at four at the Écomusée du fier monde, 2050 rue Amherst.
- Les affaires reports that Concordia undergraduate student James Bambara has won a bursary from the AQME (Association québécoise pour la maîtrise de l'énergie).
