• Management professor Isabelle Dostaler was a guest on City Montreal's Breakfast Television this morning (no link available) as part of a panel that discussed controversial pay hikes for some senior officers of Bombardier, even as the company accepts government funding to prop up its C-series aircraft program.
• Anishinabek News writes about a lecture by Steven High, professor of history in the Faculty of Arts and Science, at Nipissing University in North Bay, earlier this week. High's subject was the oral history of the 2002 closure of the Sturgeon Falls paper mill. There is a reference to High's forthcoming book,One Job Town: Work, Belonging and Betrayal in Northern Ontario.
