  • Peter Stoett, professor of political science in the Faculty of Arts and Science and director of the Loyola Sustainability Research Centre, is interviewed for Radio Canada International about a study of biodiversity in the Antarctic he co-wrote with an interdisciplinary group of researchers. They draw conclusions about the mounting pressure on the Antarctic from tourism, climate change and transnational pollution. The study, published recently in PLOS Biology, is covered in The Science Times and Le Réseau d'Information Municipale du Québec (behind a paywall).
  • Susan Jean Palmer, lecturer in the Department of Religions and Cultures in the  Faculty of Arts and Science, is interviewed for the Open Minds UFO Radio podcast (from the 20-minute mark), where she discusses her books on UFO religions: Aliens Adored: Rael’s UFO Religion (Rutgers 2004), and The Nuawaubian Nation (Ashgate 2011). Before It's News posts a link to the 'Open Minds' podcast interview.
