- The Montreal Gazette and the Gazette e-edition feature Steven High, professor in the Department of History in the Faculty of Arts and Science, and the Lachine Canal audio walk, created under High's leadership. High, Canada Research Chair in Oral History and founding member of the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling, is pictured and quoted throughout.The audio walk, available for download, takes listeners from the Atwater Market to the Saint Gabriel Lock, describing the area's history as they walk along the canal.
- La Presse + includes studio arts associate professor and Concordia Research Chair in Interaction Design and Games Innovation Lynn Hughes in a partial list of the Quebec artists participating in the KM3 public art exhibition in Montreal's Quartier des Spectacles, August 30 to October 15.
- Sylvia Kairouz, associate professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology in the Faculty of Arts and Science, is quoted in a Radio-Canada.ca piece that examines how video lottery machines are designed to keep players captive.
