Students

Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:

  • Neurosciences doctoral candidate Marie-Pierre Cossette co-authors an open letter in University Affairs calling on the federal government to follow Quebec's lead and create an intersectoral student committee that would formalize the role of student researchers in the governance of major Canadian research bodies. Cossette and her five co-authors are members of the intersectoral student committee of the Fonds de recherche du Quebec, the province’s primary research funding body.
  • Montreal Rampage writes about Concordia's student-curated undergraduate art festival, Art Matters.
  • The Montreal Gazette, The McGill Reporter, the Truro Daily Times and NewsCaf report the Stingers women's hockey loss to the UBC Thunderbirds at the U Sports women's hockey championship this past weekend, in Napanee, Ontario. The Stingers dropped the third and final game of their series, 2-0, to finish fourth in the championship.
