Various issues concerning Concordia University are often reported on by news outlets. Here is the most recent coverage pertaining to the institution:
- The Montreal Gazette re-publishes a piece from its February 28, 1997 edition, about a trend at some universities, particularly in the US, of selling burial plots on their campuses. The report mentions that even if it wanted to sell plots, Concordia could never spare the space, at either its Loyola or SGW campus, to bury distinguished professors and alumni.
