- Santé Log joins coverage of research into early brain development that describes how the in utero environment can play a role in the development of brain processes in adolescents. The study, published in Human Brain Mapping, was led by Linda Booij, associate professor of psychology in Concordia’s Faculty of Arts and Science, in collaboration with researchers from CHU Sainte-Justine.
- Vivek Venkatesh, associate professor of education in the Faculty of Arts and Science, was interviewed on CJAD Radio, last Thursday morning (no link available). - R&D Mag features the "cool roof time machine" — the "R&D 100" award winner for 2016. The cool roof time machine simulates roof soiling and weathering processes in the lab to accelerate the study of energy-conserving roofing materials. The process was developed by Hashem Akbari, professor in the Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering, in collaboration with researchers at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
