  • President Shepard was also interviewed by CJAD Radio's Leslie Roberts yesterday morning about Montreal's QS ranking as the number one student city in the world. Shepard also appears in a CTV Montreal news report (at the 1:03 mark), on the CBC Montreal evening newscast (at the 9:38 mark) and on the Global Montreal 5:30 newscast, where Shepard appears at the 6:32 mark, preceded by a Concordia student at the 6:19 mark. MSN News picks up the Montreal Gazette's coverage of the best student city ranking and Noticias.ca (in Spanish) and The Municipal Information Network note that Concordia was one of three Montreal universities that appeared in the QS World University Rankings last year. Radio Canada International quotes Alan Shepard from an opinion piece that appeared in Tuesday's Montreal Gazette in which he references the student-city survey and reflects on the work of Canadian universities to attract and retain scholars. Finally, CSU coordinator Lucinda Marshall-Kiparissis is interviewed on the CTV News Channel (linked by The Loop).
