• Several publications report the unveiling of PAGES2k Global 2,000 Year Multiproxy Database — a comprehensive database of past global temperature records. Concordia is noted among the research contributors to the database and Jeannine-Marie St-Jacques, assistant professor in Concordia's Department of Geography, Planning and Environment in the Faculty of Arts and Science, is quoted: Phys.Org, Laboratory Equipment, Wire Service, AMEQ en ligne (behind a paywall). 
• Les affaires draws from the research of Pierre-Yann Dolbec, assistant professor of marketing in the John Molson School of Business, for a piece about how businesses can cope with disruptive new competitors in their markets, such as Uber or Airbnb. Dolbec's collaborator, Eileen Fischer of York University, is referenced.
• Maclean's writes about the ongoing effort to recruit a coordinator for the Canadian government's counter-radicalization program, announced in 2015. The publication mentions several research projects receiving funding under the federal program, including Concordia's SOMEONE (SOcial Media EducatiONEvery day) Project against hate speech, led by Vivek Venkatesh, associate professor of education in the Faculty of Arts and Science.
