- Le Devoir reports that Christophe Guy, VP, Research and Graduate Studies, will be honoured at a ceremony in Quebec's National Assembly today, when he will be presented with the 'Prix du Québec' for research. The award, which includes a $30,000 prize, is the Quebec government's highest honour, rewarding outstanding contributions in culture and science.
- The Boston Musical Intelligencer, writing about a recent Boston College performance by pianist Moritz Ernst of music by Sandeep Bhagwati, notes that Bhagwati, associate professor of music, holds the Canada Research Chair in Inter-X Art Practice and Theory at Concordia University.
