Yasmin Jiwani, Professor of Communications Studies & Concordia University Research Chair in Intersectionality, Violence & Resistance, published an article in The Conversation Canada examining the passage of Quebec's Bill 62, banning face coverings for those using or delivering public services in the province. She is critical of the legislation, which she believes is playing into the hands of Quebec's far-right. The story was picked up by the National Post, The Conversation France, MSN.com, Life in Québec, National Newswatch. Jiwani was also quoted in a Montreal Gazette article about Bill 62.
