  • CTV Montreal News (video and text) reports that Concordia journalism student Nicholas Di Giovanni has alleged he was he was bullied by Dollard des Ormeaux mayor Ed Janiszewski  while he was working on a story for The Concordian. Among those featured in the story is Alex Bottausci, a mayoral candidate in Dollard des Ormeaux and employee in Concordia's Institute for Cooperative Education. The story also features the incumbent mayor, Janiszewski, mentioning that he is a Concordia alumnus.
  • The Toronto Star publishes another in a series of news articles about chemical spills and other pollution in Canada, notably in Ontario's Sarnia region. The paper credits a group of Concordia and Ryerson journalism students, working on a collaborative investigative journalism project, featured in the National Observer.
  • The Canadian Press writes about Friday's football game between the Concordia Stingers and the Université Laval Rouge et Or.
