Students
Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- PhD student and researcher in humanities and criminology at Concordia, Alexander McClelland, writes a piece inToronto Now about police stigmatization of people living with HIV. McClelland is currently studying the legal and social aspects of HIV non-disclosure.
- The e-edition of Le Journal de Montréal runs an earlier story from its paper edition featuring Concordia engineering master's student Parnaz Tabrizian, who says Donald Trump's s immigration policies have scuttled her family's plans for a reunion in the U.S. this summer.
- Faculty of Fine Art student Alexandra O'Sullivan is one of four artists featured in PEI's The Buzz about an upcoming exhibit in Charlottetown.
- Mtl Blog, listing free activities across the city in February, includes a mention of live Concordia jam sessions at the Upstairs Jazz Bar every Thursday evening throughout the month.
