Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:

  • Concordia PhD student Kelly Norah Drukker is featured in a piece in the Montreal Gazette and the Gazette e-edition after taking both the Concordia University First Book Prize and the A.M. Klein Prize for Poetry for her first collection of poems, Small Fires, (McGill-Queen’s University Press, 2016). Drukker received the awards at last month's Quebec Writers Federation gala in Montreal. The article is reprised in the Calgary Herald.
  • Independent Sports News picks up coverage of last week's RSEQ (Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec) student athlete awards gala in Montreal, where Concordia exercise science student Linda Morais, a competitive wrestler, was named Quebec student-athlete of the year in an individual sport.
  • Faculty of Fine Arts student Rythâ Kesselring (fibres and material practices) is featured in La Voix de l'Est.
  • Electronic Products and Technology picks up an earlier release announcing that electronics hardware manufacturer Harwin is sponsoring the student-run astronautical engineering society, Space Concordia.
