• G'day India joins coverage of a study of student performance, led by Erin Barker, assistant professor of psychology in the Faculty of Arts and Science and member of the Centre for Research in Human Development. Barker, working with Carsten Wrosch, psychology professor in the Faculty of Arts and science, determined that occasional negative moods can impact positively on a person's performance at school. 
• Maclean's, listing special events planned for Canada's 150th anniversary next year, includes a brief about the Lost Stories project, led by Ronald Rudin, history professor in the Faculty of Arts and Science and co-director of the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling. 
• Senegal's SeneWeb describes the recent study led by Jim Pfaus, psychology professor in the Faculty of Arts and Science, on the female orgasm. Pfaus, working with graduate students Gonzalo Quintana Zunino and Conall Mac Cionnaith, concluded that women derive intense sexual pleasure from multiple sources of stimulation. The study is also referenced in Glamour Paris.
