  • Le Journal de Montréal and Le Soleil preview this Saturday's football game in Quebec City between the Concordia Stingers and the Université Laval Rouge et Or, in the preliminary elimination round for the Dunsmore Cup. Stingers quarterback Trenton Miller's performance this season is commented by head coach Mickey Donovan.
  • The Halifax Chronicle Herald previews this afternoon's USports women's rugby championship quarter-final game between the Stingers and St. Francis Xavier University, in Victoria.
  • TSN.ca mentions Concordia finance student Dennis Gudbranson in a piece published in advance of last night's game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Vancouver Canucks, at the Bell Centre. Gudbranson was in the stands for the game to see his brother, Erik, play for the visiting Canucks. Dennis, diagnosed with myeloid leukemia, received a bone marrow transplant through an anonymous donor twelve years ago. His hockey-playing brother has been noted for his efforts to convince more young Canadian men to sign up as stem cell donors.
  • The Windsor Star features local varsity athletes, including competitive wrestler Linda Morais, a student of exercise science at Concordia.
