Students
Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- Several media present coverage of last Friday's trip to Omaha, Nebraska by a group of Concordia business students who spent four hours with famed investor Warren Buffet. The 15 students, from the Kenneth Woods Portfolio Management program (KWPMP) at the John Molson School of Business, were able to put various questions to Buffet: Les affaires (reprised by Finance et Investissement and linked by Titres Presse) publishes an account of the visit which includes a photo of Buffet with the Concordia students; KWPMP dirtector Reena Atanasiadis and KWPMP student and research associate Alison Fogel went on a Montreal media tour yesterday to share the students' experience, with interviews on CBC Radio's 'Homerun' and CJAD's 'Aaron Rand Show' (no links available); KWPMP undergrad Kevin Henley, who made the trip to Omaha, is interviewed for CBC TV's 'On the Money' (reprised by Media Monitoring Suite, with video and transcript).
