  • Several media pick up reports of a Concordia research review of the scientific debate over clitoral versus vaginal orgasm. The review was led by Jim Pfaus, psychology professor in the Faculty of Arts and Science and co-authors Gonzalo Quintana Zunino and Conall Mac Cionnaith, both graduate students at Concordia. They describe the potential for female arousal from multiple sensory inputs. The review was published in Socioaffective Neuroscience & Psychology: The Sun (UK), Medical XPress, Newswise, News-Medical, The Science Explorer, Australian Women's Weekly, New Zealand Herald, AMEQ en ligne (behind a paywall).
  • Science Direct (behind a paywall) and Clinical Key publish a research article by Roisin O'Connor, assistant professor of psychology in the Faculty of Arts and Science, and psychology department intern Danit Nitka, who examine the link between social anxiety and problematic drinking.
  • PR Urgent announces the release of the novel, The Chassidic Trauma Unit (8th House Publishing), by Abraham Boyarsky, mathematics professor in the Faculty of Arts and Science.
  • Correction: Yesterday's Media Review included a mention of an appearance by Philip Abrami on Montreal Breakfast Television to discuss ABRACADABRA — free children's literacy software developed by researchers at Concordia's Centre for the Study of Learning and Performance (CSLP). Note that Abrami in fact was on Montreal's Global News Morning.
