Students
Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- Le Journal de Montreal and TVAnouvelles.ca feature a Concordia student in their Rememberance Day coverage: Canadian Armed Forces veteran Eric Washburn, currently working on a BA in anthropology. The piece, about Washburn's transformative experience in Afghanistan, mentions alumnus and fellow-vet Yves Butterworth, who recently graduated with a BA in history and classics. Butterworth is founder of the Concordia Veterans Association (CVA) and Washburn is the association's vice-president.
- Journal Express de Drumondville, writing about the Quebec startup NYX Bike, producer of an electric bicycle that can travel at speeds of up to 90 kilometers per hour, says a co-founder of the company credits Concordia mechanical engineering student Cédrick Lévesque-Baker with the idea that inspired the company's bike design. Levesque-Baker is owner of NYX Bike.
