- Phys.org and AMEQ en ligne (behind a paywall) pick up coverage of a new Concordia study of vermicomposting and how worms can be used to "upcycle" waste into both compost and animal feed. The study, recently published in Waste Management, was led by Louise Hénault-Ethier (BSc, biology '05 and MSc, biology and chemistry '07), who carried out her research while pursuing her master’s from what is now Concordia’s Individualized program. Hénault-Ethier worked with Concordia chemistry professor Yves Gélinas and biology professor Vincent Martin, in the Faculty of Arts and Science.
