National Coming out Day

October 11 is the 28th anniversary of National Coming Out Day. It's a day to celebrate coming out as LGBTQ, still a difficult moment for many individuals. Gilbert Émond, associate professor in the Department of Applied Human Sciences within the Faculty of Arts and Science, can talk about the homophobia that still exists in contemporary society and how LGBTQ youth are a vulnerable population and HIV interventions.
