Massive cyberattack

Much of the internet was brought to a standstill on Friday, October 21 as a cyberattack hit the United States-based internet firm Dyn and brought down popular sites such as Twitter, Netflix and Spotify. Jeremy Clark, assistant professor in the Concordia Institute for Information Systems Engineering (CIISE), and Fenwick McKelvey, a communications professor in the Faculty of Arts and Science, can illuminate how an attack like this can happen and how we can stop this from happening again in the future.
