Concordia faculty and researchers are regularly asked to offer expert, informed opinions on many of today's most pressing problems. Read some of the latest news items about Concordians:
- MSN posts yesterday's Montreal Breakfast Television interview with Graham Dodds, associate professor of political science in the Faculty of Arts and Science, who analyzes the third and final Clinton/Trump debate.
- Darren Wershler, assistant professor of English in the Faculty of Arts and Science, is quoted in an article in The Atlantic about the gendered past of typing education. Wershler's book, The Iron Whim: A Fragmented History of Typewriting (Cornell University Press), is referenced.
- La Presse.ca, Le Journal de Montréal and TVAsports.ca report that Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) has rebranded as 'U Sports' and note that the panel tasked with devising the new logo and mounting the rebranding campaign included Concordia athletic director Patrick Boivin, who is quoted. The Stingers' own rebranding, last year, is also referenced in some of the coverage.
