Students

Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:

  • Concordia student Jesse Strong is featured in a CBC.ca story about his five-day puppetry performance, LOVEpuppets, underway now at Montreal's Mainline Theatre and ending Sunday.  The project is part of Strong's master's degree in art education at Concordia.
  • TVA Sports, Le Journal de Québec and Canoe Sports pick up an earlier story from Le Journal de Montréal about Quebec's university baseball league, which includes the Concordia Stingers. It announces that Concordia will face McGill's baseball team in this weekend's league final.
  • Inside Halton picks up an earlier story from The Toronto Star about women who have decided to turn away from oral contraceptives. It features Concordia art student Katy Benedict, who talks about the mood swings she says resulted from her own use of the pill.
