International Literacy Day

Thursday, September 8 is International Literacy Day, a day to celebrate and honour the progress made to increase literacy rates around the world. Sandra Martin-Chang, associate professor in the Department of Education, can talk about the importance of family literacy and the early exposure to reading for pleasure.
