Students

Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:

  • A brief in Le Journal de Montreal (last item on the page) announces that Stingers men's hockey player Olivier Hinse has received the Guy Lafleur trophy, as the Canadian university player who best exemplifies the combination of success in hockey, studies and community involvement.
  • Maman pour la vie and the Université de Montréal student paper Quartier Libre write that singer-songwriter Ariane Moffatt will appear with the Concordia Laptop Orchestra at Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal, this evening at six, as part of Les Journées de la culture. It mentions that the digital orchestra, made up of current and past Concordia music students, will be conducted by Eldad Tsabary, assistant professor in the Department of Music.
