Mexican President disputes Trump
This week Donald Trump flew to Mexico to meet with President Enrique Peña Nieto. Despite an outwardly friendly encounter, Trump and Peña Nieto issued contradictory accounts of the meeting. The dispute centred on Trump's campaign promise to build a wall, payed for by Mexico, along their shared border. Trump, at a joint press conference, said that they had discussed the wall but not payment of it. Declining to address the assertion at the press conference, Peña Nieto's office countered Trump's version of events with a tweet. Guy Lachapelle, professor in the Department of Political Science, can analyze Trump's outrageous behaviour.
