Various issues concerning Concordia University are often reported on by news outlets. Here is the most recent coverage pertaining to the institution:

  • Safe Travels Magazine links to a New York Times article from June 15, 2016, about a charge of sedition bought by Iran against Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, a charity worker who had been arrested two months earlier. The piece mentions the arrest, early in June, of Homa Hoodfar, who remains in detention in Iran's Evin prison. Hoodfar's arrest is mentioned also in a report in The Tower about a new U.S. State Department warning against travel to Iran. In related coverage, The Canadian Press re-posts a story it ran earlier this month in which journalist Mohamed Fahmy warns that the families of Homa Hoodfar and others detained abroad can't rely solely on the Canadian government and must act proactively to secure their loved ones' release.
  • A brief in Les Affaires updates the work of the John Molson School of Business to redesign its MBA program. Management professor and John Molson School of Business interim dean Stéphane Brutus is quoted.
