- Reports circulate concerning new research by biologists at Concordia who have shown how small populations of animal and plant species that are considered endangered can still respond to changing conditions and fight back from the brink of extinction through natural selection. The study, published in Evolutionary Applications, was co-written by Dylan Fraser, associate professor in the Department of Biology, recent Concordia biology PhD graduate Jacquelyn Wood and current PhD candidate Matthew Yates: Science Daily, NewsWise, AMEQ en ligne (behind a paywall).
- An article in The National Student about addiction to online pornography references a 2015 study conducted by Jim Pfaus, professor in the Department of Psychology, and UCLA researcher Nicole Prause, challenging claims of a correlation between erectile dysfunction and consumption of internet pornography.
