• Kyle Matthews, senior deputy director of the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies (MIGS) at Concordia, is interviewed on the Radio Canada program 'Midi Info', where he talks about the use by extremist groups like ISIS of social media to recruit converts. Listen to the interview. Matthews is quoted in a related story inLaPresse.ca about identifying and containing terror threats in Canada, notably those involving so-called "lone wolves", as appears to be the case with ISIS sympathizer Aaron Driver.
• Tune in to CTV Montreal News at Noon at 12:30 today. André Gagné, associate professor in the Department of Theology, will speak about home-grown terror in the wake of the RCMP shooting of suspected Islamic State sympathizer in Ontario earlier this week.
• Open Canada publishes a piece co-authored by Matthews and Egor Fedorov, research associate at Concordia's Digital Mass Atrocity Prevention Lab. The authors write about the growing threat of attacks by "lone wolves" they say are being converted by ISIS through social media.
• Matthews is quoted in an opinion piece in The Kingston Whig-Standard about the genesis of the Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect (R2P). The piece focuses on the failure of the international community to prevent genocides that have unfolded since the founding of the United Nations. 
• Theresa Bianco was interviewed in studio for the CTV Montreal noon news earlier this week. She talked about stress, in particular, that faced by athletes in the Rio Olympics.
