Various issues concerning Concordia University are often reported on by news outlets. Here is the most recent coverage pertaining to the institution:
- Ashley Opheim and Guillaume Morissette founded Metaron, an independent, Montreal-based publishing house that seeks to help young authors break into the literary world. Opheim states that one of the motivations behind the creation of the business was to work with authors whose writing “reflected her generation's sensibilities”, writing similar to what is emerging from Concordia’s Creative Writing program: CBC Arts.
