  • History professor Ronald Rudin, co-director of the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling, was interviewed yesterday on CBC Montreal Radio's Homerun (no link available) about his Lost Stories research project. Rudin has put out a call for Canadians to pitch ideas for little-known stories of Canadians and plans to have a Lost Stories collection ready in time for Canada's 150th anniversary.
  • A CNW release announces the official launch of the Fondation québécoise de la franchise (FQF), to assist franchise entrepreneurs and lists the John Molson School of Business among the Quebec business schools eligible for research grants and scholarships from the FQF. It notes that the FQF's first scholarship was granted last month to a JMSB student. The release is picked up by Money News and CanIndia News.
