Students
Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- CBC.ca writes about Concordia student Candice Sag's personal grief following the terror attack on Istanbul's Ataturk airport, which claimed the life of one of Sag's relatives — a Turkish customs officer who tried to stop the attack.
- Space Ref Canada (reprised by Xania News) announces that a team of students from Concordia recently won the Canadian Satellite Design Challenge at the Canadian Space Agency's David Florida Laboratory in Ottawa.
- Le Devoir publishes an opinion piece whose author, arguing for concrete action to preserve green spaces across Montreal, mentions a recent march— organized and led by Concordia student Cathou Dupuis — from downtown to Pierrefonds, to protest a proposed residential development.
- Le Soleil reports that unnamed Stingers women's hockey players, along with Stinger's women's hockey coach Julie Chu, were on hand at a recent young girls' hockey camp in Quebec City.
