  • Laurence Parent, a doctoral candidate in the Department of Humanities and a member of Québec Accessible, was interviewed on Global Montreal's Focus Montreal program last Saturday. The interview focused on Parent's work to press for greater wheelchair accessibility in Montreal and on the Tanis Doe Award she received from the Canadian Disability Studies Association in recognition of her years of activism and advocacy. The segment is found through the second of three video links on the show page.
  • L'Écho de Laval, reporting on last weekend's annual NAHL (North American Hockey League) draft announces that the NAHL's Laval Prédateurs have drafted two Concordia Stingers players, Danny Potvin and Julien Leduc. L'Écho de Trois-Rivières and L'Hebdo Journal report that another two Concordia Stingers, Luca Ciampini and Jérémy Barriault, were selected by the Trois-Rivières Blizzard. Finally, L'Éclaireur Progrès writes that Stingers player Olivier Hinse was selected by the Cool FM team, in Saint-Georges-de-Beauce.
