- LaPresse.ca's 'Blogue Techno' writes about last Thursday's Montreal Demo Day, at the Old Port's La Scena. The Concordia-led event showcased the city's business startup community and many of the new companies working with the incubators. Four of the ten startup companies profiled in the aforementioned article (Ananda, Uvolt,Capbeast and Second Life) are from Concordia's District 3.
- A CNW/Telbec release announces the publication a report on Quebec's financial markets, co-authored by accountancy professor Michel Magnan and published by Le Centre interuniversitaire de recherche en analyse des organizations.
- The McGill Reporter, profiling McGill University's new Associate Vice-Principal of Innovation, Angelique Mannella, reports that she is working with Arcade Our Way, in collaboration with Concordia's Technoculture, Art and Games research centre to develop a video game about alternative leadership models.
