- Concordia engineering graduate and District 3 member Noah Saber-Freedman was interviewed on CBC's 'Homerun' by Sue Smith yesterday afternoon (no link available) just moments before Demo Day's official public launch. Saber-Freedman described the Concordia-led event, organized by the District 3 Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in collaboration with InnoCité MTL and with the participation of four other Montreal business incubators and accelerators: TandemLaunch, Founder Institute, Centech and FounderFuel. Yesterday's event, at Scena, in the Old Port, showcased the city's business startup community and some 18 new companies working with the incubators. The interview mentioned above was tweeted on the 'Homerun' show page.
- Coverage continues of Concordia research, led by Amin Hammad, professor in Concordia’s Institute for Information Systems Engineering, that has led to a 4D construction modeling method to help manage even the biggest and most complex road infrastructure work projects: Economic Times of India, I 4 U News, Tech Tub. The study was published recently in Automation in Construction.
