  • La Voix de l'Est reports that a masters student from Concordia, who is not identified, will spend a second summer observing the pink flamingo population at Granby Zoo to investigate why they have almost completely stopped reproducing. A separate article in La Voix de L'Est references Concordia's research partnership with the Granby Zoo and mentions a Concordia project to study the behaviour of Japanese macaques at the Zoo. While he is not identified in the article, the lead Concordia researcher on the macaques project is Robert Weladji, associate professor in the Department of Biology.
