• The BBC World Service posts a technology news radio program, reprised in an Audio Boom podcast, leading off with an interview with Mohammad Mannan (at the 2:30-mark). Mannan talks about research he led with PhD student Xavier de Carné de Carnavalet, highlighting serious shortcomings of home computer antivirus software. The study reveals how security software may be less efficient than up-to-date internet browsers at handling website security certificates.
• An analytical piece in Le Temps about management success and failure references the work of Carsten Wrosch, professor in the Department of Psychology, on how and why people abandon goals they deem "inaccessible".
