Expert commentators
Concordia faculty and researchers are regularly asked to offer expert, informed opinions on many of today's most pressing problems. Read some of the latest news items about Concordians:
- William Reimer, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, was interviewed on the Radio Canada Edmonton program La Croisée (no link available) for the station's coverage of the Fort McMurray wildfire. He addressed the mental health and related issues that may emerge from the fire and its aftermath. Reimer was also interviewed on numerous CBC radio stations throughout the morning today, in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, as well as in Whitehorse.
- Several media pick up a La Presse Canadienne story that quotes Chantal Maillé, professor in the Simone de Beauvoir Institute, about the under-representation of women in the House of Commons: L'actualité, Huffington Post Québec, Le Soleil, Journal Métro.
