  • Coverage continues of new Concordia research that shows how better social support helps mitigate health problems in parents of autistic children, under stress related to constant caregiving. The study, led by Jean-Philippe Gouin, assistant professor in the Department of Psychology, and Erin T. Barker, assistant professor in the same department, is published in the journal, Family Relations: Carlisle Wellness Network and Medical News Today.
  • The Globe and Mail's latest roundup of research from Canadian business schools includes a study of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), co-authored by Harjeet Bhabra, professor in the Department of Finance and associate dean of research of the John Molson School of Business. The study looks at the salaries and other compensation of executives in urban and rural SMEs.
  • Granby's L'Avenir picks up an earlier article reporting that Concordia, which it notes entered into a research partnership with Granby Zoo in 2014, is collaborating with the Zoo on a conservation project in Cameroon, through the Fondation pour l'Environnement et le Développement au Cameroun (FEDEC). The partnership between Concordia and the Zoo was initiated as part of a research project led by Robert Weladji, associate professor in the Department of Biology.
