- The Charlottetown Guardian reports that Concordia student-athlete Trevor Banks, currently ranked the number one Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) wrestler in the 54-kg division, has won a bronze medal at this weekend CIS wrestling championships, at Brock University. The Guelph Mercury reports that Concordia's men's wrestling team tied for third place overall at the championships and that the Concordia women's team finished 9th.
- History student and food blogger Miranda Cipolla, posting two new items to Mtl Blog, announces a free maple syrup festival, taking place on Promenade Wellington in Verdun, March 18 to 20, and the opening of a new burrito restaurant — Burrito Revolucion — on Ontario street east.
