Students
Current students at Concordia do outstanding academic work and get involved in community projects that improve our quality of life. See what they've been up to:
- The Montreal Gazette, hailing this year's university hockey playoffs "the best hockey in town", writes about this evening's face-off between the Concordia Stingers and McGill Redmen in Game One of their best-of-three Ontario University Athletics (OAU) quarter-final men's hockey series at McGill's McConnell Arena. Game Two is set for Friday, 7:30 pm, at Ed Meagher Arena on Loyola campus. If necessary, Game Three would be played Sunday at 5 pm, back at McGill. La Revue de Terrebonne also references the Concordia/McGill match up in this year's university hockey playoffs.
- Le Journal de Montreal, writing about what it says is the low visibility of Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) hockey in Quebec, mentions that Concordia is one of only three universities in Quebec with a team in the league.
- Radio-Canada.ca lists Stingers football players Mikaël Charland and Roman Grozman among a group of players from Quebec who will attend the February 27 NFL regional camp in Baltimore. The article is reprised by Le Huffington Post Québec.
- Food blogger and Concordia history student Miranda Cipolla posts in Mtl Blog about the Café Chat L'Heureux, a restaurant in the Plateau where the house cats, left free to roam, are available for petting by patrons.
