- Numerous media pick up a Canadian Press news report on a final decision, expected today, from the board of governors of the University of British Columbia on whether to divest the university’s $1.4-billion endowment fund of its fossil fuel holdings. The report references Concordia's own decision, in late 2014, to divest parts of its endowment of fossil fuels: The Globe and Mail, GlobalNews.ca, The Province, Metro (Toronto), Castanet, Nelson Star and more than eighty others.
