- Duurzaam Bedrijfsleven (in Dutch) and The Municipal Information Network join continuing coverage of the work of Concordia researchers who have developed software to track the state of road, water and sewer infrastructure and help plan repair and replacement projects. The paper, written by Khaled Shahata, a former graduate student, and Tarek Zayed, a professor in the Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering, was recently published in the Journal of Construction Engineering Management.
- Psychology professor Diane Poulin-Dubois and graduate student in Concordia's Centre for Research in Human Development (CRDH) continue to garner media attention for their study of the cognitive benefits to children of being bilingual. - The work of marketing professor Gad Saad is referenced in an SCPR.org article on going carless in Los Angeles. Saad talks about the correlation he says women appear to draw between a man's attractiveness and the car he drives.
